Sand Dunes and Work Party
Memorial Day Weekend 2005
Our club hosts
an annual work party and poker run in conjunction with the Klamath Falls
Four Runners each Memorial Day weekend at the Christmas Valley Sand
Dunes. Everyone is welcome at this event! We camp near the dunes and
have more fun than anyone could imagine.
The work party is a volunteer effort of our clubs for the
BLM. Each year we provide labor to maintain and/or upgrade the sand
dunes area.
The poker run usually attracts over 300 particpants from
across the dunes. We have winning pots for both high hand and low hand.
Winners this year took home nearly $300. each. Plan to join us next
year!!! |
