We finally got the rear links installed. Here are some pics of the progress starting with the upper link mounts that are welded in under the seats. It also acts as a cross frame brace and seat mounts.

We cut a hole in the floor to run the upper links through to the axle.

The finished product all painted up and ready for links.

The lower links are boxed and through bolted to the frame supports.

The rear is a 4 link setup.

The rear seat bolts to the new upper link mounts.

The finished product of 4 days work.

I forgot to mention that there is another plate that goes over the links. We were thinking of keeping the weather out but it should stop links as well.

I see a way to fix the concern that you have. I'll run it by Jon. It will keep the exhaust and water out too.

Thank you guys! this is Josh by the way, nice of me to post on my own build ya? Thanks for all the comments and compliments it will be a really fun rig. Dad's building is very thorough and I am blessed to have him helping engineer and fab such intricate and ridiculously time consuming seat mounts. Keep watching, this is the standard we have set for ourselves as far as workmanship and more is soon to come!

Exo on the top and bottom will tie it all together and we will add vertical Exo bars at the rear and by the windshield. Just came in from finishing up the nerf bars and finders. More pics tomorrow or stop by Mud if you are in the mood.

Sorry it took us so long to post up. We have been as busy as the rest of you. Today we are finishing the fender tubes and pictures will follow. Kara picked out the color by the way

Women are usually better with colors than guys are. We usually just pick somthing to cover the rust, On the other hand, rust is a good color too.

You guys should think of puting together some pictures, start to finish, and writing a spred and submitting it to some 4 wheel magazines. I have never seen a rear suspension designed this way. It may draw some attention from the big boys. The cage is also somthing that would answer some of the questions that I have seen submitted to some magazines.

Yeah I have been planning to send some photos in once it was done. We need to do the same with the Willyz and maybe get a double feature. All the same, it would be really cool to see either of our jeeps in a magazine.
