Peach and I will be gone from June 11-21 with grand kids and Creek and Trail than off to Moab and points east from the 25th to mid July. We may try and run Cold Springs on July 26 and will camp out at Delintment Lake Aug 8th, both subject to change. We have the road inventory for Vale coming up, planning on starting in early Sept. and going until snow.

Cold Springs is now set for July 17 but still not set in stone. Andy and Bill are putting together a run to the Strawberrys on June 26th. Delintment Lake is set for Aug 6,7,8 and that is set in stone now. We have a meeting concerning the OHV area on June 28th which Jason will attend with one or two others if possible. Peach and I are leaving Friday morning for Moab and Colo. Creek and Trail was a lot of fun, we met and wheeled with some new friends and helped cook breakfast, the weather was almost perfect.

August run is a campout at Delintment Lake. I will be going up Friday morning and staying until Sunday evening or Monday morning. If your coming from Bend and don't mind gravel roads the short way is north off 20 just east of Riley toward Allison Guard Station. If you come into Burns, turn at the truck stop and its paved all the way in to the Lake, about 45 miles. We will be wheeling in the Snow Mountian area on Saturday. This is mostly just a great family campout with some light wheeling and exploring and fishing if you want.

Just a friendly reminder, ATVs have some pretty heavy restrictions on traveled road in the this area, you might want to stop by the forest service office and pick up a list of roads that are closed to ATVs, its a fairly long list. Keep an eye out for us, maybe we'll see you up there.

The run to Snow Mt. was well attended with 5 rigs making the lookout. We threw in a side trip to Whiskey Mt. and hit as many roads less traveled as possible. Chas brought out his willys flat fender and Scoop showed up in his new 05 Rubicon. Everyone had a good time but I forgot the camera, I hope one of the others will add some pics. Sunday evening Scoop, Bill, Peach and I hit the King Mountain area for a sunset run that turned into a late night rock crawl with Bill leading us into the abiss. I managed to snap a short side alloy sub shaft in half but was able to make it out with minimal winching. Here again, no camera. Part way through the run we renamed Erik from Scoop to Super Scoop, he is still plowing his way down the trail. He and I are planning on a cure for this soon, the 3 inch lift is in my shop. Bill was leading in my old Jeep, heavy metal, it was good to see it back out on the trail.
